Cherri (Mckenney) Sterling

Marine Corps, 16 Years
Joined on my 18th birthday: First duty station was Marine Barracks 8th and I in Washington DC as a unit diary clerc. After that I served in Admin at Orlando truck Company, Orlando Fl, and as a recruiter in Orlando Fl, Went up to Minneapolis MN and became a Military police officer... did some duty in Camp LeJuene and some training in 29 Palms. After getting a double BA degree from Unniversity of MN, Went officer. got out after 16 years due to injuries in both the military and a car accident which both happened close to each other. MISS the corps big time, but have 4 kids in the Air Force now and all have served in the war zone atleast 4 times. I am a VERY proud MOM!
