Denzel (Billy Joe) Brewer

Air Force, 20+ Years
I joined the Air Force in 1955, attended AF Special Ops. School after basic training. After Ops. School attended Survival School at Stead AFB, Reno, Nevada and upon completion was assigned as Airborne Radio operator on a B-36 at Fairchild AFB, Washington. Spent almost two years in the Airborne program before being grounded and re-trained into the Ground Electronics part of Special Ops. Worked in ground Ops. until 1966, then back into Airborne Systems, many more survival schools, then off to South East Asia duty until returning to the states in 1974 as Airborne Systems Supervisor at Goodfellow AFB, Texas after attending Airborne Instructor School , Retired from the Air Force in 1975.
