Navy, 10 Years

Nathan spent his first half of senior year with a full class load, and then went to night school in order to graduate early. He had joined the DEP program in the US Navy, and once he graduated, was able to sign a contract with the Navy as a Seabee in February 2006 and left for boot camp and schooling shortly after, unable to walk at graduation. He has been to 4 different duty stations and countless countries. He was fortunate to be able to work with the DOD and one on one with the president when Bush was in office. He has spent the last 3.5 years in Japan and is now in Mississippi for a second rotation of duty. He is committed to a full 20+' years of service and is over half way there!

Our Willow Canyon High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Willow Canyon High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Surprise are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
