Army, 17 Years
After completing telecommunications training at Fort Gordon in August Georgia in September 1995, I was sent to Fort Lewis in Tacoma Washington. My unit then moved to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas,in May 1997. After two deployments to Kuwait and 2 rotations in Korea, I've finally left the Great State of Texas and am now a Spectrum (radio frequency) Manager for Joint Forces Command at Norfolk, Virginia. I have training upcoming April-June 2009 at Fort Gordon, and will be spending my last three years of active duty before retirement here at Norfolk, living only 8 miles from the sands of Virginia Beach. I'm working on completing my Bachelors degree and will retire on the FIRST day that I'm eligible, and would like to move to Arizona and get my teaching certificate and teach middle or high school.
