Class of 1958
Air Force, 20+ Years
During my 25 year career in the U.S. Air Force (1959-1984) I was privileged to fly a variety of fighter aircraft at bases throughout the U.S., in Europe and in Southeast Asia. Aircraft included the FB-101, F-102, F-106 and F-4. Survived 184 combat missions during the Vietnam War. Proud to wear the Distinguished Flying Cross, 15 Air Medals and Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with palm. After retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Air Force and as an airline captain, I returned to flying for the Air Force as a civilian contractor, flying the T-43A (737) for undergraduate navigator training.
