After West Point I served in the Army for 23 years. The first half was in 3rd Armored Cav Regt at Ft Bliss, TX, and in 2nd ACR in Germany. The Army then sent me to grad school at Naval Postgraduate School. I then spent the second half of my career in analysis jobs.

Navy, 20+ Years
Entered the Navy in 1971. Became a submarine sonar technician and served on the USS James Monroe - SSBN 622 (Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine). Retired at the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2000.
