Worked in intelligence, stationed in Dover De, Hampton VA, Kunsan Korea, Belleville IL, recieved a purple Heart in 1996 for wounds recieved as a result of the bombing of the baracks at Khobar Towers, Saudi Arabia

Served 21 Years in USN both Enlisted and Commissioned. Enlisted 1960 as Nuclear Power Engineering Trainee / Submarine Volunteer. Reported to Naval Station Great Lakes 29 AUG 1960 for boot camp. Attended Machinist Mate Class -A School at Great Lakes 1960. Attended Basic Enlisted Submarine School, New London CT 1961 and Qualified in Submarines 1962 on USS Crevalle SS-291. Accepted for Naval Enlisted Scientific Education Program May,1962 and attended University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill NC, 1962-1966, Graduate with BS in Physics and BS in Math. At graduation held rank of MM1(SS)(E-6). Reported to Navy Officers Candidate School, New Port, RI in June 1966 and was commissioned ENS USN in October 1966. Served on USS DOGFISH SS 350 as Assistant Operation Officer, USS IREX SS 482 as Weapons Officer, USS Thomas A. Edison SSBN 610 (BLUE) as Weapons Officer, Staff COMSUBDEVGRU-II as MK 48 Torpedo Tactical Development Project Officer, USS Benjamin Franklin SSBN 640 (Blue) as Navigation/ Operations Officer and USS Waterford ARD-5 as Commanding Officer. Retired as LCdr (O-4), 30 October 1981. After retirement worked for Analysis and technology, North Stonington CT, 1981-1996, as Program manager for developing Combat Control System Operating Guidelines and Fleet Employment Training for the Tomahawk Cruise Missile Weapon System on all Classes of Nuclear Fast Attack Submarines receiving the Tomahawk capability. Retired from A&T in 1996 and moved to Vermont.
