Camp Pendleton , 2 west pac floats to Japan , Korea , Philippines , Australia , Thailand , Hawaii , Hong Kong attached to 3/1,1/9and 1/4 traveled on the USS Tarawa and the USS Belleau Wood as a field wireman in a grunt battalion . Was an advanced modulation instructor for the HMMV off road tactical vehicle safety driver for motorcycle off road messenger training , main side camp Pendleton base telephone maintenance and up and down the coast of California doing operations .
