I did one tour in Iraq with the 1st Armored Division and on tour in Afghanistan with the 20th Engineer Battalion. When I was stateside I worked in S1 and when deployed I was a gunner on HUMMV's. I was medically retired on Oct. 14th and have been enjoying retired life since then. Yes there are the medical issues that I deal with daily, but it was worth it and I would do it all over again to keep the U.S. free.
