Air Force, 10 Years
Joined in 1990 in the Communications field. First Base was RAF Chicksands in Great Britain and from there I visited Ireland and Scotland.
Then I transferred to Anderson AFB, Guam (1992) into a Mobile Comabt Communications squadron and enjoyed deployments to Korea and Thailand -still missing the beaches and the snorkeling! Not to mention the SHOPPING! After that I transferred back stateside to Shaw AFB in Sumter SC. Married a wonderful (Navy) man I met back on Guam (1994) and later welcomed a son! (1996). I chose not to reenlist in 1999 and we moved to Illinois, back to my husband's hometown to give our son a hometown.

Aero-Medical Evacuation for 5 years. Was stationed out of Charleston AFB until 1999 just before graduating nursing school. Before medical, I was a weather observer for 4 years stationed in Panama during the aftermath of Operation Just Cause, and then at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana.
