May 1988-1994 Weapons Loader B1-B Lancer McConnell AFB, KS active duty. Deployed Desert Storm.
Jul 2000-2002, Joined the Kansas Air National Guard by request of Col Ed "Dusty" McIllhenny. Part time Gaurdsman from 2000-2002. We lost the B1-B mission after 9/11. It was replaced by the KC135R air refueling tanker.
MAY2002, I got hired to be inflight refueling technician or Boom Operator KC135R. One of the questions during the hiring board was "can you lay on your stomach and pass gas?"...well...DUH.
Where I have been to: Ramstein and Geillenkirchen Germany, Incirlik AB, Turkey, Misawa and Okinawa Japan, Guam, Alaska, HAWAII (I hated it) and all fifty states.
Awards and Decs- a bunch.
I have flown combat support missions
OIE OEF,Medical Evacuations, Troop deployments. I volunteered for hurricane and tornado relief efforts
The best memories I have is bringing the men and women of our armed services home to Kansas.
Currently, I have been selected to go to Intel School for Network Intel Analyst. Believe it or not, I'm admit...I'm a nerd. SAD
To all who have served I say HUAH! and THANK YOU! But nothing can stop the US Air Force!!!

Our Southwest High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Southwest High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
