Enlisted December 1951 out of Denver University at height of Korean War. Served in Korea, Nov 53-Oct 54 as administrative clerk in the Office of the Provost Marshal, Taegu Air Base. Assigned at Lincoln AFB NE, Palm Beach Air Force Base FL, Scott AFB IL, Tachikawa AB, Japan, Forbes AFB KS, and Cannon AFB NM. Positions included Chief of Officer Personnel Section, Hq Military Air Transport Service; Chief of Career Assistance and Counseling Section, Tachikawa AB, Japan and Forbes AFB KS, Commandant of the Noncommissioned Officer Leadership School, and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commander, 27th Tactical Fighter Wing, Cannon AFB NM. Decorations include Meritorious Service Medal with One Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Commendation Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conbduct Medal with One Silver Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Good Conduct Medal with 4 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal with One Oak Leaf Cluster, Korean Service Medal, and United Nations Service Medal. Ret '79.
