Hi, All! Because we have had inquires regarding a Class of '66 gathering, I am posting what we know at this time. Because we do not know what the summer and fall may bring regarding Covid-19, we will be postponing our "Official 55-Year Reunion" until 2022. Because so many of our classmates are looking forward to meeting up soon, we are hoping to plan a daytime, informal Mini-Reunion this fall once circumstances permit. More info will follow as we approach that event. I sent out an email to our classmates during the first week of December with the above info. At that time I included a reminder that if you change your email address, phone number, or mailing address, please be sure to notify me or Carrie. If you did not receive that email, it means we do not have your current email address. Please provide it to me or Carrie McMahon. We also requested that you let us know if you might be interested in attending our "Official Reunion" in 2022. Obviously, we have no details at this time, but we will need a ballpark figure of how many may attend in order to secure a venue about 8 months in advance. If you did not respond to that December email, now would be a good time to message me. Wishing you well in 2021.

Hello again to our Classmates of RHS Class of 1966!
We are now only ten days away from our Mini-Reunion #3 on Saturday, September 28, 2019 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at BJ's Restaurant in Brea. BJ's will provide a buffet luncheon of Deep Dish Pizza, a Specialty Salad, Dessert, and Drinks of soda, tea, or coffee for $20 which includes tax and tip. Because BJ's will present only one check for the entire group, please be sure to bring cash for your share. Credit cards or cash can be used if you choose to order drinks from the bar. Now is the time to send us your RSVP before next Wednesday, the 25th, if you have not already done so. As of last weekend, we have about 30 planning to attend. (We did schedule this event further south this fall rather than at the North Woods Inn in order to provide a shorter driving distance for our friends in Orange County and beyond.) If you have not received a separate personal email invitation from me that is because we do not have an email address for you! Please send your email address to Marie Klein Alvarado at this site to receive messages regarding upcoming events. Your personal info will not be shared. It will only be used for Class of 1966 announcements. A thanks goes out to JoAnn, Carol, Gwen, Diane, and Carrie for organizing this gathering. There will be plenty of room to be up and about to have conversations with your friends. 50 of us had a wonderful experience last year, so we hope, if you are in the area, that you will join us this time. We held our reunion meeting on Saturday May 10th and everything is going great. In attendance was Kathy Lowery, Linda Hardesty, Mindy Caris, Larry Miranda, Ron Bone, Glen Gray, Dave Ciotta and myself.
We have lots of fun things planed that will including a DJ with 50’s 60’s greatest hits, dancing, memorabilia on display, fine dinner, a video presentation on what was taking place in our years, photographer, memory book, DVD and most of all our classmates who we will all enjoy seeing and speaking to. : We will keep you notified of our progress and comments received from all of you. .
The cost is set at $80.00 per person. We have been given a discounted rate of $6.00 for the day-of and $12.00 for overnight parking. The parking is not included in the cost and can be paid at the event. If anyone would like to donate any additional funds to help sponsor an alumni who may need assistance please add it to your payment. Thank you.
