Deployed in part of OIF and OEF in 2003 to Middle East and worked as "Security Shotgun Driver" for convoys going from Kuwait to Iraq. Honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 2008.

Served in the Army Reserves as a 95B (Military Police) with the 814th MP Co, at O'Hare Airforce Base from 1991-1999. Took a break from military life until 2002, when I joined the Marine Corps. Military occupations I have held since joining the Marine Corps-0311 Infantry Rifleman, 0331 Infantry Machinegunner, 0341 Infantry Mortarman, 0913 Marine Combat Instructor, and currently 0369 Infantry Unit Leader. I have deployed to Iraq twice with 2nd Battalion 5th Marine Regiment (OIF I the invasion of Baghdad in 2003, and OIF II the battale of Ar Ramadi in 2004-2005). I have completed a 3 year tour as a Marine Combat Instructor at the School Of Infantry West. I have also deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 participating in Operation Khanjari "Strike Of The Sword" with 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment. I have just re-enlisted for another 4 years in the Marine Corps and am still currently with 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment.
