Major, Infantry and Special Forces Airborne units ("Green Berets"). Active Duty and Reserve service. Served in command and staff roles from Infantry Platoon and SF "A" team levels up to General Staff, XVIII Airborne Corps. Sr. Parachutist, Jumpmaster, and Air Operations Officer. Top Secret security clearance. Honorable Discharge.

Tours in Germany (2), Korea, Fort Sam Houston TX, Fort Hood TX, Fort Devens MA, Fort Dix NJ, Fort Benning GA, and Fort Rucker AL (3).
