I went into the Marine Corps in December 1966. I served onboard the aircraft carrier Farrestal which was blown up while launching air strikes in the gulf of Tonkan outside of Viet Nam. After that I served guard duty in Norfolk Va. After that I was ordered to go to Viet Nam in 1968 where I got wounded three times. After that I was stationed in the Phillapines until I was transfered to California and got an Honorable Discharge thirty days later which was January 20, 1970.
