Served and retired as an Army aviator. Rated in the AH64 (Apache), OH58D (Kiowa Warrior) and AH1 (Cobra). Final assignment was the Commander of the Aviation helicopter flight training center located at Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Supported the logistical movement of personnel and equipment out of Iraq during the end of OND (Operation New Dawn) Dec 2011-March 2012 while deployed to Ali Al Salem AB near the Iraqi border. Supported Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) March 2012-May 2012 also while deployed to Ali Al Salem. Stefanie is a Reserve Logistics Readiness Planner and a Master Sergeant. Her homestation is the 445 AW (Air Force Reserve) out of Wright-Patterson AFB.
