HMCS(SS) USN RET Served as a Hospital Corpsman with the U.S. Marine Corps, Served as the Medical representative on the USS SALUTE MSO 470 ,on patrol in the Windward Passage during the Cuban Missile Campaign, Served aboard, for 13 patrols, the USS SAM HOUSTON SSBN 609 and USS THOMAS JEFFERSON SSBN 618 which were both Nuclear powered, Missile Submarines operating out of Holy Loch Scotland, finished my Naval Service as an instructor for Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare at Naval Base Treasure Island located in San Francisco Bay.

MOS 140A - Command and Control Systems Technician
Duties: Coordinates the activities of maintenance personnel and manages equipment and site assets for the installation, repair, maintenance, and modification of Army air defense command and control systems, ancillary equipment, and tools. Develops maintenance SOPs; analyzes and interprets technical data employed in the diagnosis of malfunctions, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Advises and instructs repair personnel on specialized tests to isolate causes of equipment failures and malfunctions. Estimates repair priorities based on mission, type of work to be performed, and availability of parts and personnel. Advises commander or staff officers on command and control system capabilities and limitations; makes recommendations of changes to computer software based on mission and operations requirements. Performs other officer level duties essential to the unit mission.
