13 years Active duty culminating in assignment as the Senior Undersea Medical Officer Commander Submarine Group Ten with overall responsibility for the Atlantic Nuclear Ballistic Submarine Fleet and subordinate Commands. 12 years as naval Reservist to include assignment as the Director Public health Services Hawaii and Public Health Emergency Officer Navy Region Hawaii. Qualified Undersea Medical Officer/Dive and advanced Parachutist. Personal Awards include Navy Meritorious Service medal, Navy commendation medals (2) navy Achivement Medal, Humanitarian Servive Medal, Expert Mi-16, Expert Pistol. Promoted to Rank Of Captain effective 1 May 2009

Served in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. Assigned to Area 51 during the flight test an evaluation phase of the F-117A Stealth Fighter. Augmented the NY State Police during the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid NY.
