Montrose Basketball Boys and Girls Boosters are hosting the 1st Annual Basketball Alumni Recognition Saturday, January 26, 2013, in between the girls and boys varsity games against Durango starting at 12:00pm. All past players (boys and girls) are invited to attend. Please email your name, address, email address, phone #, years played and names of team mates to montrosegirlsbasketball@gmail.com. Hello everyone! This is the second year we are having this reunion. Last year was a blast and many classmates had a chance to "catch up" with friends they haven't seen in over 20 years! I am very excited about this year, and seeing my friends again! This is a yearly reunion so if you miss this one, you'll have a chance to get the next one! Put it on your calenders, and make it a yearly vacation for you and your family! now...down to some info! The invited years are tentative. I didn't make this an alumni reunion only because I didn't think us older classmates would have too much in common with the younger ones. That doesn't mean that someone will be turned away... so I would like to take this time to extend the invite to the class years ranging from 1990-1995! Come and join us! If someone is interested, I would love to help the classes from 1990-2000 have their own Multi-Year Reunion! If you are interested, get with me and we'll make a plan to get it going next year. So...some details about our day! We have rented the gazeebo at Riverbottom Park from 5am until 7pm for a family friendly BBQ! There is no cost to attend the BBQ, however, you will need to bring your own BBQ. Grills will be provided. We would love it if you brought a dish to share! You will also need to bring any games you want to play. There are many different activities at Riverbottom, including a volleyball court, numerous trails to ride or walk, a skate park, an inline hockey rink, playgrounds for the kids, horseshoe pits, a basketball court and tons of grass! Just bring whatever tickles your fancy! There is a charge to attend Turn Of The Century Saloon. Just pay at the front door when you arrive. We will have a DJ, Karaoke, and some stand-up by Dan Eddy! A pay bar is provided. (you are not allowed to bring your own drinks) I am looking forward to seeing everyone, and making some new memories to go with all those old ones! I encourage you to invite our classmates! Let's get together and have a night that we will never forget!
