Served on active duty from 1986 to 1990 and as a reservist until 1997. Spent 2 years in the Marine honor guard at Marine Barracks 8th & I, Washington DC, then 2 years in the infantry as part of A Co, 1st Battalion, 8th Marines. Reserve service was primarily with 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance at Qunatico, VA. Also served as a Navy Intelligence Officer assigned to NCIS from 2005 to 2010.

Four years three months twelve days and four hours, but who's counting? Was a TD (Training Device Technician) and ran an air intercept radar trainer for a Phantom (F-4) squadron that did "Top Gun" style dogfight training.

Our Montpelier High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Montpelier High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Montpelier are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
