Served 3 years in the 82d Airborne, then 17 years in Special Ooerations (10 years in 5th Special Forces Group). Deployed in support of Gulf War, Somalia, Balkans and Iraq as well as numerous contingency operations. Multiple valor awards and wounded in combat. Retired in 2009 as LTC.

I arrived in Vietnam on Jan. 29,1970, On Jan. 18, 1971 while serving in a CAP unit in a small village in the Que Son Valley I was severely wounded by a grenade and was shot twice, in the shoulder and hip. I remained at St. Albans Naval Hospital until I was discharged on Dec. 22, 1971. I currentle live in Langhorne, PA.

Graduated Norwich University in 1990, Commissioned 2LT in Army Corps of Engineers and later in the Logistics Corps. Retired Colonel having served 30-years with deployments to the Balkans and Iraq and assignments in Europe, Asia, and throughout continental USA.

Retired infantry MSG served with the 10th Mountain division for 4 years and deployed to Bosnia. Then was in the 27th brigade of the New York Army National Guard active for 10 years and deployed to Iraq in 2003 which was considered OIF 2. Then was transferred to the 42 ID and worked as a Battlestaff Operations Sargeant and an acting 1SG for the reminder of my career.

Our Monroe Woodbury High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
