Army musician. Joined Sept '79, basic training at Fort Leonardwood, MIssouri, AIT at School of Music, Norfolk Naval Base, Virginia. First duty station 76th Army Band, Kaiserslautern, Germany from June '80 to Dec '83. Fort Jackson, SC-282nd Army Band from Dec '83 to Jun '87. Seoul, Korea - 8th Army Band. Last duty station-staff/faculty at School of Music, Norfolk, VA.

I met my husband, Larry Martin, while we both were going through Morse Code Intercept Operator school at Ft. Devens, MA. After our army days, Larry returned to school and entered the Air Force upon graduation in 1985. He retired in 2005.
