From 2003 -2008 served as an Aviation Electricians Mate as well as a member of the Auxiliary Security Detachment at NAS Jacksonville. Involved with Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. I separated as a Second Class Petty Officer in December 2008 (Honorably).

Spain,Portugal,France,Italy,Greece,Turkey,
Isreal,Somolia Sierra Leon, Suadi Arabia,Kuwait, I participated in Desert Storm and Somolia operation. i was awarded various awards and accommodation and I am a Combat Veteran and proud. I met some wonderful people along the way which i have the pleasure of still being in contact with brothers for life. And I will do it all over again in a heartbeat. Semper Fi.

I entered the USCG in '72, I completed Radioman School in '73.

I was stationed in VA, CA (3), FL (3), MA, WA and LA. I served on 3 ships, was an instructor at Radioman School, I was on watch at the Rescue Coordination Center when the Challanger blew up, I have been to the north pole, the south pole and lots of places in between. I retired as a Chief Radioman (E7) in '94

Mr. Stanley Levan Simmons retired from the United States Army, as a Major, in 1994 after a 20-year career with the Army’s Military Police Corps. Among his many active duty assignments were leadership positions with the 709th Military Police Battalion, Germany; command assignments with the 515th and 555th Military Police companies, Virginia; and duty as the Executive Officer of the 197th Ordnance Battalion, Munchweiler, Germany. He also served in staff positions at separate brigade, installation, and major command-level. He is a graduate of the United States Army Officer Candidate School, the Military Police Officer Orientation and Advanced Courses, the Combined Arms Service and Staff School and the Command and General Staff College and is a 2001 graduate of the Sustaining Base Leadership and Management Program of the Army Management Staff College for Department of Defense civilian leadership. He served in Germany, Korea and various pots in the United States.He has received three awards of the United States Army’s Meritorious Service Medal, two awards of the Army Commendation Medal and three awards of the Department of the Army’s Superior Civilian Service Award. He is a life member of the Military Officer Association of America and the Association of the United States Army. He is married to Army Nurse Corps Colonel (Retired) Jean Simmons.
