National Guard, 17 Years

I started out as a armament and missile systems repairer for the Cobra attack helicopter. We recieved Blackhawk helicopers in 94-95 so I was sent back to school as a mechanic. I work full time in Madison as a crew chief and mechanic for 15 UH-60M helicopters. I've been working there since 2000. I have served in Kuwait twice, Iraq once, Egypt, Guatemala, as well as many, many other missions, (ie, flood and hurricane relief). The army has sent me to so many schools that I can't count them all. I am actually writing this from a training site in Arizona. Overall, it has been a challenging 17 yrs and with another deployment coming up, it will continue to challange.
