I enlisted in the Navy in 1990 after doing 2.5 years in the Army National Guard. I started out as a Sonar Technician on board the USS Antietam (CG-54). Participated in the first Gulf war on board the ship. I cross rated over to the SEABEES as Builder in 1995. Did lots of tours overseas including 3 years in Iceland. I also participated in the current Iraq war.

Recieved the National Defense Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Campaign Medal, ad the Army Service Medal for military service. Recieved an Honorable Discharge October 1, 2009 and is now a United States military-service veteran.
