I was a 63B, Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic also a 52D, Generator Mechanic, as well as the Commander's driver while stationed in Germany.
I became the first female motor sgt in Germany in 1979. I am proud to have serviced my country.

I became the first female motor sgt in Germany in 1979. I was injuried while in country during Reforger training maneuvers that ended my military career.

Staff sgt Rick Conner was a lifer in the Army... tours of Germany and Korea, he was in the ground crew for the Apache helicopters in Desert Storm. While still in the Army, he died June 7, 1993 when a storm blown tree crushed his car.

Completed traning and was assigned to Bien Hoa Air Base Viet Nam from 10/66 to 10/67. My next assignment was 4392 SPS Vandenberg AFB, Ca. After 4 years I volunteered to be an instructor in the Security Police Academy, Lackland AFB, Tx. I spent 4 years in this assignment 9/71 - 12/75. I was then assigned to a hardship tour at 15th Air Base Wing, Hickam Air Force Base, Honolulu Hawaii (7 1/2 years).My last assignment was as Superintendent, Law Enforcement Branch, Security Police Academy, San Antonio Texas. Retired 12/84.
