Son of a 27 year military veteran (Army and Marines), I obtained a private pilot's license, a regular army commission, served 8 years in the New Jersey Army Reserves, and retired as a Captain in the early 1990s. I authored a book series entitled, "A Look Back in Time: Memoir of a Military Kid in the Fifties" describing the life and adventures of a proud military brat during Dad's tours in: Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Germany, Korea, and Maryland.

Maintenance squadron commander. Multiple staff tours. Retired as Colonel.

NROTC at the University of Oklahoma resulting in Commissioning as an Ensign in 1975. Flight School. Navy wings in August 1977. Flew SH-2F Anti-submarine helicopters off of the USS Fox (CG33) and the USS Hepburn (FF-1055) during deployments to the western Pacific, Australia, and Indian Oceans. Instructed primary flight students in T-28Bat Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. Separated from military to attend medical school.
