Army, 11 Years
Her last 4 years of active duty were as a physician assistant, and she spent two deployments treating casualties in Iraq. Her first 7 years of active duty service were as a combat medic, which included two deployments to Bosnia in 1997-8.

Air Force, 5 Years
Electronic warfare systems technician. 29 weeks training at Keesler AFB, Biloxi MS. Repaired radar jamming pods for F-4G Wild Weasels at George AFB, Victorville, CA from 82-84, and for A-10's at RAF Bentwaters, Suffolk, UK from '84-'87. Honorable discharge with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
