Schwabach West Germany, 83-85, assigned to 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry. Unit was responsible for border operations between West Germany and Czeckoslavakia. Berlin, West Germany 86-91 assigned to F. Company 40th Armor. Attended President Reagan's speech at the Brandenburg Gate where he stated, "Mr. Gobachev, tear down this wall!". Was still assigned in Berlin when the Soviet Union collapsed and witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Served in US Army Recruiting Command from 97-2006. Retired from the Army in 2006.

Our Kirkwood High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Kirkwood High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
