He was drafted and entered the Army, on September 15, 1969. He was a Military Policeman, stationed at Fort Sheridan, ill. He then was transferred to Selfridge AFB, and remained there until he completed his service.

Navy medic & Journalist: Basically a nurse and writer, who was blest to have seen quite a bit of the world. And a lot of things I would rather forget, especially violence and hunger! Spain, France, the Philippines were great. Malta, Sicily and Italy were nice also the Caribbean.

Air Force, 20+ Years

Lieutenant Colonel US Air Force Retired. Acquisition contracting and material management officer. Served tour of duty in Saudi Arabia and numerous logistics assignments at stateside bases. Presently Director of Contracts for The Ohio State University.

Our King High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our King High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Detroit are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
