Sherry Konczal, Frank Martinez and Bonnie Neroda have created a reunion committee. The reunion will be a catered picnic on Saturday, September 18th at the Century Park Arboretum in Vernon Hills. A picnic shelter with a max of 50 people has been rented. It's located on a higher elevation in the park with a beautiful vista of the surrounding lakes. If you'd like to participate on the reunion committee, please contact Bonnie Neroda. We need volunteers, especially those who are savvy with Social Media to get the word out about the reunion. The weather in September should be perfect for an outing & no masks are required! This will be a wonderful venue to have fun and reunite with our former friends and classmates! The Vernon Hills Park District has a great video of the Century Park Arboretum on their website. We'd love your feed back and suggestions as well! Looking forward to seeing everyone again! SPACE IS LIMITED TO 50 ATTENDEES SO PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO RSVP!
The MENU for this special event consists of Teriyaki glazed Salmon, seasoned grilled boneless chicken breast, oven roasted red skin potatoes, fresh corn on the cob, bow tie pesto pasta salad, fresh cut fruit salad, assorted homemade dessert bars, & assorted rolls/French bread. The entrees will be grilled onsite by a BBQ Chef who will be accompanied by a server. Please be aware that ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE PARK. A variety of non-alcohol cold beverages will be served in addition to coffee. MUSIC from 1966-1970 & DANCING will be part of the festivities!
COST: $65 per person

****UPDATE****:
Hey KP Class of 1978 Alumni! The reunion committee has finalized the plans the 35th high school reunion. The date has been set to Sept 13 and 14, so mark your calendars!
* Friday 9/13 Kelvyn Park School tour from 5pm to 7pm.
Gathering at LaVlilla Restaurant on Pulaski Rd @ north of Addison for appetizers/dinner after the tour (each pays their own).
* Saturday 9/14 picnic at Deer Grove Picnic Grove 1 in Palatine, IL from 10am until dusk.
Alumni are welcome to bring their families. Cost will be $10.00 per person. We will supply the main meal, water, soda. Feel free to bring a dish to share and your "special" beverages.
Also, bring your outside games where all can share and play.
