SSG Timothy A Poole enlisted into the U.S. army in 2003. He has served as an M1A2 Abrams main battle tank crewman. He has honorably served in Iraq for 2 and a half years and 9 months in Kuwait training ally forces and on reserve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His awards include: The Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Good Conduct Medal with 3 Knots, National Defense Service Ribbon, Iraqi Campaign Medal with 3 Campaign Stars, Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Army Professional Development Ribbon with numeral 2 device, Army Service Ribbon and an Army Overseas Service Ribbon with numeral 4 device. Timothy Poole is a proud graduate of Hopewell Loudon class of 2002 and continues to serve in the U.S. Army today.
