Announcing Our Big, Class of 1967, 50 Year Reunion!
We are calling it “Hawaii 5 O”

Save the date(s) and make your plans to spend the weekend with old friends or maybe some new ones!

Time to make your plans for October, 2017. By planning so far in advance and locking in 2015 prices for 2017, the Hoover planning committee has secured a great deal for our upcoming reunion. This is the big “5 O” so come join in the fun!

Both nights of the 50th reunion will be at Marina Village,

Two Nights for the Price of One! Two events and both are included in one ticket price. You buy one ticket and choose to attend either night or both nights!

How do I register?
Save the online fee and send a check, or pay online http://www.alumniclass.com/herberthoover/reunion-class-of-1967?r=89232 for tickets. Write a check payable to Hoover Class of 1967 Reunion and mail it to 4566 Santa Cruz Ave., San Diego, CA 92107 Attn: PKrause. When you send your check or pay online please send an email to hoovercommittee@gmail.com to get a confirmation and a registration form sent to you. Once we receive your payment and the registration form we will send you a receipt.

Can I pay with a credit card?
Yes, we have set up two ways to pay with a credit card. You can request a personal email invoice by emailing the committee at: hoovercommittee@gmail.com, or you can get tickets on this website http://www.alumniclass.com/herberthoover/reunion-class-of-1967?r=89232
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, someone else can use your ticket, but we need to be notified in advance no later than Oct 1, 2017, in order to update the attendance list and a make them a name tag. The name tag is the admission ticket.

Can I update my registration information?
Yes, just send us an email to hoovercommittee@gmail.com.

Will I receive a ticket by mail?
No, you will receive an email receipt and your name will be put on the attendance list. You will pick up your “Ticket”, your name tag, at the door.

What are my parking options at the event?
Lots of free parking in the surrounding parking lots at Marina Village.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
The Hoover 1967 planning committee email: hoovercommittee@gmail.com.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Age 67 or older...just kidding!

Why do I need to buy my ticket so far in advance?
We need to know how many are coming as soon as possible; there is a minimum attendance that needs to be met.

Can I get a lower price if I just go one night?
No, the way we were able to lock in two-year old prices was by linking the two nights in one package deal. Even if you are able to attend only one night, the price is still comparable to most San Diego venues for a one-night event. If you are able to attend both nights, the cost is substantially less than two individually priced events. It’s a BOGO (Buy One Get One free).

What is the attire?
Even though we are calling it "Hawaii 5O" please feel free to dress in any way you feel most comfortable! Anything from classy cocktail to casual to anything in between!

Where is the closest hotel?
The Hoover 50th reunion committee has secured a discounted hotel room rate for our class at The Dana Inn. They offer a free shuttle to and from our event between the hours of 5pm and 10pm. Call for a reservation 800-445-3339 and it is flexible until 48 hours before the days you reserved. More info https://hoover1967.wordpress.com

Is there a way I can donate to the reunion?
Yes, just write a check payable to Hoover Class of 1967 Reunion and mail it to 4566 Santa Cruz Ave., San Diego, CA 92107 Attn: PKrause. Or, request an online email invoice at The Hoover 1967 planning committee email: hoovercommittee@gmail.com

What if I can't make it after purchasing my ticket, are there refunds?
Yes, let us know before the last day to RSVP, October 1, 2017. There are no refunds after October 1, 2017 or for No-Shows.
