Drafted in 1968. Enlisted in the Air Force. Served as aircrew member in the USAF Security Service. Specializing in the Vietnamese Language and message coding systems, I flew as an aircrew member 25 recon missions in Vietnam. Stationed in Da-nang, RVN flew the DMZ , Central highlands and the infamous "parrot's beak area near Laos Cambodia border. Earned the Air Medal and having been shot down once and rescued I am a survivor in every sense of the word. Hoa binh(peace)

Served as Weapons Controller (1971-1975) and Intelligence Officer (1979-2005) with assignments in CONUS (Tyndall AFB, McChord AFB, Lowry AFB, Air Force Academy, Pentagon) and overseas (Osan AB and Yongsan in Korea; Wiesbaden AB in Germany). Retired as Colonel after 30 years of service.

Our Hampton High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Hampton High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
