National Guard, 6 Years
Did basic training at Ft. Polk , Louisiana in the summer. Scored number one in our company ( it was posted in our barracks -120 plus guys in a company!) in pt -physical training timed pushups , mile run etc. loved that stuff! Re uped in the Miami Army reserves .Actually met a guy in Miami who managed the singing group , The Vogues , before they hit it big ( Five o clock World etc.)Proud to serve . My mos was Field wireman and those gaffed telephone poles were quite high!
