The class of 1976 will be celebrating their 35th yr. and would like to extend the invitation to the classes of 1972-1980. This will be a 2day event starting with a meet and greet Fri. Aug. 26th @ 6:00p. This will be held at Capital Ale House in Midlothian. A heavy hors'd'oeuvres buffet will be provided. You will be asked to run your own tab for any alcoholic beverage. The second event will take place on Sat.Aug 27th @8p. This event will be held at the Smoketree subdivision clubhouse. Smoketree is located in Chesterfield Co. off of Courthouse Rd. This event is a semi-formal "All White Affair". We are asking that the dress be all white ladies and gents. Wine willbe served @8p-9:30p. while we welcome guest. Music and Food will be provided. The music will be provided for by a DJ with old and new school music. We ask that you bring your own favorite drinking spirits, we will provide the ice and cups. The formal invitations will be sent out via email in 2-3weeks. Greetings, The class reunion meeting scheduled for Saturday, April 25th will be rescheduled for Saturday, May 2nd. We initially received a verbal commitment from over 100 classmates that they wanted to participate in the reunion and the price of $144 was based on 100 classmates participating. To date we have less than 40 persons that have made payments toward the reunion and we have made non-refundable deposits in the amount of $370. For the classmates that are serious about participating, the reunion will be restructured to a two day weekend event (Saturday 7/25 and Sunday 7/26). At this time, we are unable to project the actual cost of the two day event until we have a definite number of classmates that have made a monetary commitment and work with the vendors to adjust the price. For those that have paid for reunion in full, you will receive a refund based on the revised reunion cost. The deadline to make the initial payment of $50 and show your commitment to participate in the reunion is Thursday, April 30th. After this date, all future reunion communications will be provided to paid classmates only. All, We have located over 100 classmates that have expressed an interest in having a 20 year reunion and verbally committed to participate in the class reunion scheduled for July 24th – July 26th. However, less than 25% of our classmates have monetarily committed to the reunion and the final payment is due this Saturday. At this point, we need a firm commitment from everyone willing to participate by making the initial $50 payment by this Saturday, if you have not already done so. Remember, the $144 fee was based on 100 persons participating. If you have decided NOT to participate, please take the time to acknowledge this so we can make alternative arrangements to still have some form of a reunion based on the number of persons that really want to participate. Greetings, The vote is in and we will be worshipping at First Baptist Church South Richmond at the 11am service. Our Mayor, Dwight C. Jones is the senior pastor and will render the morning message. Class Reunion Payments: Several members of our class have been working extremely hard to put together this reunion and we have received minimal payments.
