George Konig

Class of 1964

After colleges was drafted and went to Vietnam. Was hurt 3 times than finally sent home. I’ve had 6 surgeries since but I don’t give up! Worked as a artist and graphic designer for McDonald Douglas Aerospace, than later withDisney and Warner Bros. as an animator for close to 17 years.
The Army made me retire in 2002. I still do art work for grandkids and friends, but just for fun.
I married a girl I dated in high school and college, but we broke up when I went in the Army. By coincidence after an 8 year marriage I got a divorce, than accidedentally ran into my high school
love, started dating,
and now we’re married for37 years.
I’ve been to the White House to meet Pres.G Busch and received 3 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, Bronze Star, and a Presidential Citation. I can really now say I am a real American, Legally!!!!
