This is just a "kept" ring! My late husband and I, both class of 1944, were not even really going steady when he graduated - he to join the Navy, I to start college. I had not ordered a ring; he had. He asked me to take it for him; I realized the significance and said no. He insisted, finally saying I didn't have to wear it, just keep it for him. He never wore it; I kept it and now as his widow I am proud to wear it on a gold chain given me by my sister and brother-in-law, Betty Ruth Scott and Dick Culbertson, both class of 1946.
