4 years in Mannheim, Germany with the 109th Trans Co. from 1986 to 1990. Transferred to the 101st Airborne Division and completed Airborne training at Ft. Campbell, KY and then joined my new unit in Saudi Arabia in September of 1990. Participated in the largest Air Assault mission in the history of the United States military when the war began. Exited the Army in 1992 and moved back to Illinois, lived in Champaign and went back to school on the G.I. Bill and Army College fund.

Carolina '70-7, served in Panama Canal Zone '71-75, Nellis AFB, Nevada '75-79, '80-86 and retired. Also spent time in Korea '79-80, TDY's to Canada, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Tampa, Fla., and Hawaii.
