Army, 1 Years
Michael graduated from, The Citadel, The Military College of SC, May 5, 2012. He was commissioned into the United States Army as a 2LT on, May 4, 2012. At present he is attending Military Intelligence (MI) Basic Officer Leaders Course (BOLC-B) in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. He will graduate from there on September 26, 2012. His first Duty Station will be at Ft. Bragg, NC. He is assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division.

Several years as a theatrical lighting technician and designer with Air Force Entertainment and two tours with the Air Forces Premier Entertainment Showcase, Tops in Blue, Overseas tour as their lighting director, tour electrician, special effects designer and electronics technician..

CDR Paul Burkhart enlisted in the Navy July 1985 following graduation. He advanced through the enlisted ranks to Electronics Technician 1st Class before being selected to the Enlisted Commissioning Program. He was commissioned in May 1998 and has risen through the officer ranks to Commander. He has been selected for Command At Sea where he will have the honor of commissioning a new Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), the USS LITTLE ROCK (LCS 9), in Buffalo, NY.
