Hello Classmates,
Hope this letter finds you and yours Healthy and Happy. As we get older, some think it would be nice to have a 25 Year Class Reunion. So here is what some of the Chucktown “88” put together.
We will be keeping the Class Reunion over the 4th of July festivities:
Thursday, July 4
Enjoy the Charles City Hometown Parade and Fireworks this evening- on your own
Friday, July 5
Social for anyone wanting to meet at the Beverage Tent Downtown Main Street
Saturday, July 6
10:00am: Last year a few Classmates put together the BRU-HA Memorial Golf outing in Memory of Bruce Crooks. They will be running that tournament again this year at Cedar Ridge Golf Course in Charles City. It is open to all classmates and public. It is a 4 person best shot tournament limited to the first 36 teams. It is 18 holes with a 10am start. The Tournament fee is $30 per person which includes green fees. This is NOT part of your class reunion fee. The top team in each flight will receive a prize. If you need a cart, you need to call and reserve one at Cedar Ridge 641-228-6465 and pay them directly the day of.
7:00pm: Social at Cedar Ridge Golf Course. Light meal of appetizers and pork loin sandwiches are included. Beverages are available for cash bar. With today’s technology, we will have a spouse take a picture and post it for you to look at or upload on your own. We will have music background but no DJ or Band.
Class reunion cost is $25 per person or $50 per couple for hall rental/clean up and food.
Please make checks payable to Class of 88 and mail by June 21st so we have a head count.
