Class of 1961
Marine Corps, 20+ Years
Served 13yrs Active Duty and 9Yrs Reserve in the U. S. Marine Corps. Had four tours of duty overseas, which include the Cuban Crisis 1962 and Vietnam 67-68. Served in the Marine Corps from 1961-1983. Retired in Kansas City, MO.

Air Force, 20+ Years
Worked and supervised technicians on the Minuteman missile weapon system. After training at Chanute AFB, IL (Rantoul, IL) I was stationed at Minot AFB, North Dakota, Vandenberg AFB (Just north of Santa Barrera), CA and finally at Grand Forks AFB, ND. Retired in 1997 and am still actively vertical. Tried to rejoin after 9/11 but was told we may not want to use nukes just yet.
Too bad. Was a nice thought.
