Made TD1 (E6) in under 6 years. Went through Boot Camp in San Diego, California and was assigned to three different San Diego shore stations after secondary training in Memphis, Tenessee. Amazingly, I kept the same street address for over 8 years even with the transfers.
Married Donna Leedy, also Class of '72, in1974, and just celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary in February.
