Enilisted into the Army (Armor M1A1), then commisioned as Field Artillery officer in the Army. Deployed to Afghanistan from 06-07, Been MLRS Platton Leader, Battalion Assistant S3, Battery Commandre twice, Brigade Assistant S3, CTCD Desk officer. Graduated both the Field Artillery Basic course and Captains Career Course.

1 year Texas National Guard

Active duty US Navy from December 1976-June 1986.. Duty stations include USS Nimitz, NTC Orlando, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Served 7 years total in the US Naval Reserves between 1987 and 2001.

Active duty US Navy November 2001-present. Stationed at Mobile Security Squadron TWO, Naval Security Forces Bahrain, COMFLEACT Yokosuka Japan and Naval Base Point Loma-San Diego. Presently serving in Afghanistan as part of Provinicial Reconstruction Team-Farah.
