Served in the United States Air Force in many communications-electronics support roles. Responsible for the overall management and operation of the communications-electronics maintenance complex supporting military organizations. Graduated from Bay High School in June of 1980. In February 1981, enlisted in the Air Force and attended basic military training at Lackland AFB, Texas and placed in the by-pass program because of JR ROTC experience completed only 3 weeks of basic training. Attended the Air Traffic Control Radar Repairmen technical training at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. Upon graduation was assigned to the 2101st Information Systems Squadron at Blytheville Air Force Base, Arkansas, October 1981. In February of 1985, left Blytheville and was reassigned to the 4th Combat Information Systems Squadron at Kwang Ju Air Base, Korea. In June of 1986, was again reassigned to the 2002nd Communications Squadron at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. In December of 1988 volunteered for remote assignment to the 1961st Communications Group, Clark Air Base, Philippines. Completed tour at Clark AB and was reassigned to the 1982nd Communications Squadron, Kunsan AB, Korea. After leaving Kunsan in July of 1992, was assigned to the PACAF Special Maintenance Team, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. Left the Special Maintenance Team in August of 1998 and was assigned to the 97th (Formerly the 2002nd) Communications Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Left the 97th and was reassigned to 18th Communications Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa Japan. Upon completion of overseas tour in June of 2005, was reassigned to final assignment at the 460th Space Communications Squadron, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado.
