Served from 1975 -1979. Was an electronic countermeasures technician for the F-111 aircraft. Was mostly stationed at Mtn Home Air Force Base, near Boise, Idaho.

Served in Miltiple Middle East tours and 5 years at the White House Honor Guard. Tours in Far East and Europe. Last tour was 2004-2006 in Iraq where I was injured in a morter blast. I am 80% disabled. I have been approved for retirement as of 5/1/2008 after 33 years.

Instrumentation Specialist. Worked exclusively with electronic and mechanical projects/mock-ups for many future applications. They included the parachute systems for the Venus probe, SR71 ejection seat and many others.

Joined the army in October of 2004. Graduate Basic Training February 18, 2005. Went to Airborne School February 22, 2005 and completed training March 8, 2005. Got assigned to a new Stryker Brigade in Ft. Lewis, WA in late March of 2005. I became the armorer, a rifleman, a gunner, and the commander's driver. Deployed April 11, 2007 and should be home by July 2008!

After graduating mid-term, joined the USMC (1980-1984) and was trained as a helicopter mechanic and assigned to Marine Corps Air Station New River, NC. While serving aboard the USS Guam, supported the evacuation of the PLO from Beirut, Lebanon (1982) and the invasion of Grenada (Operation Urgent Fury 1983).
