Was a 91C, Clinical Specialist, same as a LPN in the civilian world. Took basic at Ft. Leonard wood MO in the summer of 1974. Then took medic training at Ft. Sam Houston, TX. Advance training, 91C, at Letterman Army Medical Center, San Francisco, CA. and graduated august 1975. First assignment at Ft. Riley KS. Met by wife, Barbara, there. She graduated from Kansas State University. From there we went to Tripler Army medical center in Hawaii October 1977. Then sent to the 93rd evacuation hospital April 1981. Then in April 1986 selected to work at medical enlisted assignment branch at Eisenhower building. Returned to Hawaii July 1990. Then July 1993 assigned to Fitzsimons army medical center. Retired May 1998 as a master sergeant.

Our Artesia High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Artesia High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
