About Event
Allen O'Neil and Larry Turner got together yesterday, the 27th, to discuss when to hold our 45th Reunion next year. Larry's thought was to do it when a full moon would be available to give us more light at night at the Fascination Ranch. They checked the calendar and propose holding it on the weekend of June 29, 30, and July 1, 2012. The 29th would be the pre-party, the main event would be the 30th, and the 1st would be the post-party. As at the 40th, we're suggesting those who are interested, bring RV's, campers, etc and plan on setting up on Fascination Ranch. As it wasn't clear at the 40th that the reunion was a three-day event - Yes, Trish, I'm talking to you! - for those interested in spending up to three days together, we want it to be clear this time how we set it up the last time and plan to set it up this time. Allen got together this morning with the management at the Fascination Ranch and those dates are currently available. They asked me to query you all for thoughts. Do you: 1. Think the dates are okay? 2. Dislike the selected dates? 3. Are indifferent to the specific dates? I'll tally responses received through the next seven days and let Allen and Larry know your thoughts. FYI: For those of you on Facebook, or considering joining Facebook, two thoughts of possible interest: 1. Charlene Renfro has started a Classmates Class of 1967 page that already has 37 of us. 2. A YHS Memorial Gardens page has been started to note those YHS grads who have passed. It currently has 187 members.
