Favorite School Memory	I especially remember my teachers: Mrs Hurley, Mrs Cleary and Mrs Distefano as some of the best teachers I ever had. I never forget being told (I think it was by Mrs Hurley) about how she had to escort the first black child to be admitted to Wolfpit School only a few years previously, I imagine, in the face of protests by white adults. It was quite shocking to be taught as a child that adults so close to home could behave so badly to an innocent child and a very important lesson. As a foreign child I feel I owe a debt of gratitude for being accepted so well to both my teachers and my classmates.
